VelociDrone is widely considered the most realistic, especially for racing. Liftoff is a close second with better graphics.
Liftoff, DRL, and VelociDrone have multiplayer. Uncrashed and Tryp are single-player only.
Most people are comfortable flying after 10-20 hours. Before your first real flight, aim to complete a full lap without crashing in the sim.
